Roller Crimper Demo Tailgate

Exploring new methods of weed control is increasingly important to prevent damage to the vine, deter pests, and maintain soil health. Monterey Pacific is in its third year of using a roller-crimper in combination with a weed seeker sprayer as a new management strategy. Their experience shows that it is reducing mowing/spraying passes, conserves moisture, and is reducing overall weed pressure in their vineyards.

Driving Instructions from Highway 101: Exit to Highway 198, once you have exited, head west, crossing the green bridge at the Salinas River. Follow the road and keep right at the “Y” in the road heading towards the vineyard.
